Windows 7 is a must have for every Windows user since it is the by far the best operating system by Microsoft yet. So without further ado, let us take you through a step by step guide on how to install Windows 7. This method will work for all versions of Windows 7 OS.
1 - Load the Windows 7 DVD and boot from it. let it load the SETUP files


2 - Select your Language, time & currency format, Input method and hit Next

3 - Hit Install Now

4 - Check “I accept the licence terms” and hit “Next”

5 - Click Upgrade : if already have a previous windows version installed
or click Custom (advanced) : if no previous version instelled/ for Fresh copy of Windows 7

6 -Note : Skip this step if you chose Upgrade in previous step and have only one partition on hard drive
Select the drive where you want to install your Windows 7 And click next
OR
If you want to make partitions then: click drive options (advanced), make the partitions and then click next.

7 – Now Windows 7 will be installed on your Computer





After this your computer will restart automatically or you can click Restart now to avoid any delay



After restarting it continue the final step of the Installation , this will take some time

After this step your computer will restart again automatically, you can click Restart Now to avoid Delays




8 - Type in your desired Username, Computer name will be filled automatically and hit Next

If you want a Password type it in here and click Next or just click Next

Type your Product Key in the text box & click Next. In case you have lost your key for a particular version, you can grab a Windows 7 disk from one of your friends even he has a different version of the OS. Take the disk and make a universal Windows 7 ISO using ei.cfg.
or if you want to put it in later just click Next, Windows will only run for 30 days without the key

select your option for Windows update process

Select your regional time and click Next

if you are connected to any network it will ask you to set your networks location






and there you go your Windows 7 has been installed on your computer without any problems.
